The Think Chair doesn't read minds ... it reads bodies. When you're sitting in the adaptive seat and seat back of the Think Chair, your movements are meant to be anticipated by the fabric and the support systems, and the chair moves with you to keep you comfortable and supported. The goal of the chair is comfort and hi-sci ergonomic support for the back, shoulders, neck, and spine.
What's To Like:
The Think Chair is inside out when in comes to design. All the features of the chair are out in the open, rather than hidden from view. It gives the chair a very honest and very cool exo-skeletal look. One of the most fun features is the moving armrest. Both armrests slide up, down, in and out, and whether you're trying to get more comfortable or just thinking, it's nice and almost soothing to be able to move them back and forth. The chair is also quite affordable, starting at $639.
What's Not to Like:
We say exo-skeletal, but some say ugly. I know, harsh, but we have to respect their opinion. Something else to consider is that within a test group there were differing opinions about how comfortable the chair was, meaning that while the chair reads all bodies, all bodies don't necessarily like it.
The Bottom Line:
This is a very effective office chair, it has a good blend of unique design and ergonomic focus, and we just love those slide-y armrests. Good price, and good chair.
