Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
I bought two of these for my home office. I needed office-quality chairs for all-day sitting that would look nice and fit in our home budget, and I love that I could get two of these for about the price of one Leap/Aeron/what-have-you. Overall I'm very happy with these chairs and their adjustments. The seat depth, lumbar, back tension, and variable recline locks are all great to have, and the mesh fabric on the back feels really nice. Some areas where this chair's budget price shows: the seat cushion is not as plush as on other Steelcase chairs, and the armrests aren't quite as adjustable - they move up and down and slide forward and back, but for width they only pivot and do not slide. I also wish they went a little bit lower - I can move them out of my way when I want to, but just barely. All in all, if you want a highly adjustable chair for under $500, you probably can't do better than Reply.
